Volunteer at Folk College

Be a Volunteer

The festival needs volunteers in order to function smoothly, and we rely on volunteer help for a variety of tasks. Please fill out the form if you’re interested in coming as a volunteer.

What are the requirements to volunteer?

  • 18 years of age or older (if you are under 18, please see the information about scholarships)
  • Not responsible for the care of children during your shift
  • Conscientious
  • Energetic
  • Courteous and polite
  • Pre-approved via our Volunteer Application process
We offer discounted registration based on the number of hours worked.
  • 20 and above hours: Full registration covered
  • 10 to 19 hours: Half-price registration
  • 5 to 9 hours: One-fourth of registration covered
However, we ask all volunteers to cover their own meals and housing, either through the Folk College options or by providing their own alternatives.

Registrants under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. 

Includes all workshops, concerts, and jams. Does NOT include Intensive Classes.
Friday supper through Sunday lunch (6 meals)
Women's cuts tend to run very small

Intensive Classes

Go to the Next Level before the start of the main music camp. Choose from ONE of the Intensive Classes to take your skills to the next level. Classes are on Friday, May 22, from 10 am to 1 pm. The fee includes lunch.
$65 with Folk College registration, OR $125 for an Intensive Class only WITHOUT a Folk College registration.
