About the Arts Council
The Huntingdon County Arts Council is dedicated to providing art and cultural opportunities in Huntingdon County. Our programs are designed to provide enjoyment and enrichment as well as educational and professional opportunities to the general public, students, amateur and professional artists.

The Arts Council receives part of its revenue from grants, local governments, and the generosity of its members. Folk College, as many other Arts Council programs, relies on the dedication and hard work of many volunteers from within the organization and the folk music community in central Pennsylvania.  We thank all contributors for their support.

"Six years ago, Folk College completely rekindled my enthusiasm for music. Since then, I haven't missed a year, and I can't tell you how many tunes and songs I've learned, jams and classes I've participated in, and friends I've made."
