Be a Volunteer
The festival needs volunteers in order to function smoothly, and we rely on volunteer help for a variety of tasks. Please fill out the form if you’re interested in coming as a volunteer.
What are the requirements to volunteer?
- 18 years of age or older (if you are under 18, please see the information about scholarships)
- Not responsible for the care of children during your shift
- Conscientious
- Energetic
- Courteous and polite
- Pre-approved via our Volunteer Application process
We offer discounted registration based on the number of hours worked.
- 20 and above hours: Full registration covered
- 10 to 19 hours: Half-price registration
- 5 to 9 hours: One-fourth of registration covered
However, we ask all volunteers to cover their own meals and housing, either through the Folk College options or by providing their own alternatives.
