A wide variety of workshops will be offered. Each workshop slot offers a choice of learning new tunes or techniques, attending a lecture or jam session, or studying a specific instrument. It's the goal and philosophy of the festival organizers to have musicians playing with musicians of other instruments, so many of the workshops are open to all instruments playing together. If you don't see an instrument-specific workshop listed for your particular instrument, that doesn't mean that the weekend isn't for you. It means you should come anyhow and enjoy playing with musicians of other instruments!

Non-musicians and musicians alike will enjoy Folk College's lecture series - a series of presentations, demonstrations and discussions that will enhance your knowledge and appreciation of folk music. Look for activities marked "lecture" on the Program Agenda.
